Why outdoor elopements?

I firmly believe that you should have the wedding that YOU want. If you are on this website, it might mean a very private ceremony in a beautiful garden, a short mountain-top ceremony in front of small group of adventure buddies, or some other amazing adventure.

All of that sound good, but don’t want the stress of finding a traditional wedding officiant who’s happy to trek into the wood or stress about a friend or family member running the moment with an ill-judged remark?

Let me worry about the paper work and ceremony so you can enjoy embarking one of the greatest adventures of your life.

Can we request specific things for the ceremony?

Of course! I always share at least one ceremony draft with couples and will happily customize it to fit you, regardless of how many edits it takes.

Quick turn-around ceremonies will have limited opportunities to edit, so I encourage you to include any requests or notes in your initial inquiry, especially if you are looking for an officiant in less than 72 hours.

What are your rates?

Custom ceremonies are a flat $100 fee; coaching services are billed at $50 per 30 minute session.

Onsite ceremonies and elopements start at $250 and are priced based on a variety of factors including travel distance from Seattle. For wilderness elopements, additional permit and travel fees may be added.

Here are a few examples:

  • Seattle city core: $250

  • Olympic National Park (Lake Crescent, Mt Storm King, Hurricane Hill) starting at $450

  • North Cascades: starting at $375

  • Mt Rainer area: starting at $350

  • Steven’s Pass / Highway 2: starting at $350

  • Snoqualmie Pass (Snoqualmie Falls, Twin Falls, Mt. Si area): starting at $300

  • Whidbey Island: starting at $350

  • Overnights: starting at $500

Are you a LGBTQIA+ friendly officiant?

Yes - Proudly so! It’s my honor to officiate for couples for of all kinds. Please let me know how I can adjust the ceremony to better reflect your unique partnership.

I’m religious or spiritual. Can you incorporate that into the ceremony?

Absolutely! I’m ordained through American Marriage Ministries which is non-denominational ministry and am happy to incorporate any religious or spiritual elements that speak to you as a couple.
